Azi al'Thone is a man from the Two Rivers in Andor. Perrin draws out a figurine of him in his dreams (ToM, Prologue). He later acts as Perrin's bodyguard (ToM, Ch. 10), including to the trial at the Whitecloaks (ToM, Ch. 34). Perrin also uses him as a disguise when fighting slayer in Tel'aran'rhiod (ToM, Ch. 37). After Perrin creates Mah'alleinir, Azi is one of the men who hold his banner aloft.
He takes his name from TarValon.Net member Azi al'Thone, who won the right in a competition.
