Balescream

A balescream is an occasional effect of using balefire, it feels as though the pattern itself is rippling, when creation itself howls in pain (ToM, Prologue). When Rand destroys Natrin's Barrow, the forest around them seemed to warp and shake, as if the world were groaning in agony (TGS, Ch. 37).
