The Battle of Kolesar is a battle Mat knows from his memories. When he first looks out of the gateway that Catrona has her damane weave, he thinks that Classen Bayor would not have lost his cavalry in the marshes and the battle might have turned out differently if he had access to such a viewing gateway.
