Bethal is a medium sized walled town in Ghealdan, close enough to the border with Amadicia for Whitecloak raids. The houses are tile roofed and it has half a dozen taller stone structures, either minor palaces or the houses of rich merchants. Perrin meets Alliandre while she was visiting the town.
