Timeline
Season 1
In Episode 1, Bran is at the inn when Egwene returns from her Women's Circle ceremony. He was worried, but now he is relived and wants Egwene to help him at the inn.
Later in the evening, after everyone has left, Bran is seen washing dishes and he believes that an Aes Sedai being in Emond's Field will not cause anything significant.
On the night of Bel Tine, Bran, his wife, and his daughter, light a candle inside a paper lantern and let it flow downriver, as is the tradition in the village. Later he dances with his daughter when everyone else is celebrating.
Bran survives the Trolloc attack on Bel Tine and on the following morning helps with taking care of the wounded. He stands with his wife, while Egwene leaves Emond's Field with Moiraine and the rest.
Deviation from the Books

In The Wheel of Time Book Series it is noted that Bran al'Vere is not only the owner of the Winespring Inn, but also the Mayor of Emond's Field. His station is marked by a medallion in the form of a set of balance scales he sometimes would wear around his neck.
His appearance is also different; Bran is a very wide girthed man, wider than anyone else in the village, and also he is nearly bald, with a sparse fringe of gray hair.
