Brandel Vordarian is a Lord Captain of the Whitecloaks.He is Andoran. He was one of the Lord Captains under Asunawa and one of the ones who killed him to free Galad. He is the eldest Lord Captain under Galad. He tries to talk Galad out of sending a letter to the rest of the Children who were under control of the Seanchan telling them what happened and ordering them back, believing it to be foolhardy.
