Cariandre is an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah from Ghealdan. She is plump (KoD, Ch. 2).
After an audience with Mattin Stepaneos, Elaida has Cariandre take him to his rooms and send Tarna to her (KoD, Ch. 2).
She escorts Mattin Stepaneos through the gardens while Egwene is working there. She very much disapproves of Egwene talking to him, above all about the Red Ajah, and sends her to Silviana for punishment (KoD, Ch. 24).
She and Patrinda guard Egwene's room (TGS, Ch. 25).
