General
Coiren Saeldain is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah who sides with Elaida when the White Tower splits. She leads the White Tower delegation to Rand until Galina takes over the escort. They have the Younglings with them as a Royal Escort.
Coiren is plump, stately, and pompous. She talks like she is making a speech and is very sure of herself. She has a good mind (LoC, Prologue; LoC, Ch. 27).
Timeline
- Coiren leads the first team of the White Tower embassy (consisting of her, Erian, Galina, Katerine, Nesune, and Sarene) to Rand. They meet with three Shaido Wise Ones, and Coiren makes a deal with Sevanna concerning Rand (LoC, Prologue).
- Coiren and her embassy arrive in the city of Cairhien (LoC, Ch. 24). In Cairhien, they stay at Lady Arilyn's palace (LoC, Ch. 25).
