The Council of Twenty-Two is an [[Aiel]] council. They meet in [[Aviendha]]'s vision of the future to discuss what the Aiel should do after the [[White Tower]] had fallen. They didn't have the strength to fight and if they became slaves the Aiel would die so Ladalin said they must retreat into the Three-fold Land and hope to build up strength. We do not know what their original purpose was but there are only five remaining of the twenty-two.
