Desartin

Unless stated otherwise, all information herein is taken from A Memory of Light, Prologue.

Desartin was a Murandian lord overthrown by his own people in the Knoks Rebellion. He had been looking to set up his own kingdom, but had treated them terribly and the people eventually had enough of his brutality. Many of the mercenaries who he had gathered stood with the common folk and opposed him, as he had been unable to gain anyone's loyalty.
