Donalo Sandomere is a Dedicated among the Asha'man. He is grizzled with a farmer's face but an oiled, pointed beard with gray streaks like Tairen nobles. Apart from Logain and Narishma, he is one of the strongest among the Asha'man (TPoD, Ch. 22; WH, Prologue; KoD, Ch. 27).
Toveine Gazal does not really believe Donalo Sandomere is his real name (WH, Prologue).
He bonded an Aes Sedai named Ayako Norsoni (KoD, Ch. 20).
Timeline
- He is present at the Black Tower when Rand names the male channelers Asha'man (LoC, Ch. 42).
- He fights at Dumai's Wells (LoC, Ch. 55; WH, Prologue) and sees Rand choose the Asha'man to accompany him back (ACoS, Ch. 2; WH, Prologue).
