A similar entry appears in the Wheel of Time Companion. Other information about the character is also included in the Companion, but we did not use it in the TarValon.Net Library.

General

Doniella Alievin was an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah. She was raised to the Amyrlin Seat in the year 306 NE and held the position until her death in 332 NE. She was Serenia Latar's successor and Aliane Senican's predecessor (TWoRJTWoT, Ch. 24).

Before Egwene, she was also the only Amyrlin known to be a dreamer. She had made annotations to her copy of the Termendal translation of The Karaethon Cycle, which is now kept in the Thirteenth Depository of the White Tower library (AMoL, Ch. 1).
