Why did you choose Brown?

Because I never wanted to leave.

Are you like the Browns in the books? Do you love books and have a tendency to daydream?

The short answer is yes, I am very much like Book Browns. My happy place is a library or book store, and I can spend the entire day daydreaming about a whole variety of things.

Do you have a favorite Brown Ajah character from the novels?

Verin, of course. Although I enjoyed Saerin’s character as well.

How long have you been a fan of the Wheel of Time series?

Approximately 18 years.

How did you first get into the series?

I was searching my local used book store for new fantasy books, and I liked the look of Eye of the World.

Who is your favorite "hero"?

Moiraine with Egwene a close second.

Favorite bad guy/gal?

The Aelfinn and Eelfinn made interesting antagonists.

Favorite book and scene?

Hmmm, I think The Shadow Rising was my favorite book. Favorite scene is probably Egwene’s rebellion in the Tower toward the end of the series.

If you were set down in Randland, who/what would you see yourself as? An Aes Sedai? Innkeeper? Seanchan Captain?

Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah! But the kind that travels around recording knowledge.

How did you find TarValon.Net and what convinced you to stay and become a Senior Member?

I’m pretty sure it was a google search, and I decided to stay because I fell in love with the community.

What do you do in "real life"?

I’ll let you know when I finally figure that out.

Do you have any hobbies?

Knitting, sewing, baking, hiking, camping, fountain pen stuff, photography.

What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?

All sorts! From Bowie to K-Pop to musical theater.

What are some of your favorite movies / television shows?

Time Bandits, Akira Kurosawa films, Studio Ghibli films, Aliens, Dune, and lots and lots of anime.

Aside from The Wheel of Time, what are a few of your favorite books/series?

Jane Eyre, NK Jemisin novels, The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss, The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, Middlemarch, Octavia E Butler novels, The Calcutta Chromosome by Amitav Ghosh, Harry Potter, American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

What profession did you want to have when you were a kid?

I wanted to be all sorts of things… but first and foremost, I wanted to be a fighter pilot.

What else would you like us to know about you?
