-On October 14-16, 2016, nine members of TarValon.Net and one guest met in Calgary for fun, food, horses, and booze.
-We enjoyed the spacious suites at the Lakeview Signature Inn, where we were able to visit and play a new game brought by Lireina Sedai based on the popular webcomic "Happiness and Cyanide". Saturday was spent enjoying a free Oktoberfest event at Spruce Meadows with a private “tour” of the barns. We also attended the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival, held at BMO Place in downtown Calgary, where we were able to sample some of the best food, wine, cider, and other spirits that Calgary has to offer!
-The Amyrlin’s Feast was located at Chianti, a fabulous Italian restaurant established in 1983. With homemade pasta and sauce, it was a big hit for everyone. As well our Outreach charity of choice, Alberta Animal Rescue Crew, was gifted with 2 bags of dog harnesses, food, toys, and a cash donation of $250 graciously given by 100% of Fall Ball attendees and other members of TowerValon.Net.
-From beginning to end, fun was had by all and we look forward to having another Canadian Fall Ball in the future!
