Gainor Furlan is the innkeeper of the Wayman's Forge (it is later referred to as Wayland's Forge) in Remen, Altara. He is a plump balding man with shining brown eyes and a smooth, pink face (TDR, Ch. 33).
He talks a lot (TDR, Ch. 33; Ch. 33).
He welcomes Moiraine and the others to his inn and shows them to their rooms (TDR, Ch. 33).
A twisted back hindered him from taking part in the Aiel War and he regrets it (TDR, Ch. 33).
He has an old Ogier bed of sung wood in his attic (TDR, Ch. 34).
