Gitara Moroso

General

Gitara Moroso was Tamra Ospenya's first Keeper of the Chronicles. Raised from the Blue Ajah, she wears a stole that is almost wide enough to be a Shawl. There are whispers, which her stole seems to support, that she still considers herself to be of the Blue Ajah; Moiraine thinks that she is flamboyant enough for a Green or a Yellow. Timeline

• Gitara sends Luc to the Blight, telling him that the outcome of the Last Battle depends upon it. (Lord of Chaos, Chapter 16.)
• Gitara tells Tigraine that the world is doomed if she does not go to the Aiel Waste to become a Maiden of the Spear, and that she must not come back until the Maidens go to Tar Valon. (The Shadow Rising, Chapter 34; Lord of Chaos, Chapter 16.)
• Gitara sits with Tamra, writing a letter, while Moiraine and Siuan stand in attendance. (New Spring, Chapter 2.)
• Gitara Foretells that the Dragon has been reborn, and then dies. (New Spring, Chapter 2.)

Relationships

Gitara must have had a well enough relationship with the Amyrlin, Tamra Ospenya. Upon Gitara's death, Tamra says, "Not now, Gitara. Not now, when I need you most." (New Spring, Chapter 2.)
