Serancha Colvine is the current Head Clerk. The Head Clerk among the Rebel Aes Sedai is unknown. The head has the authority to appoint Sitters though the customary method is discussion to narrow the candidates down to two or three then a secret ballot (KoD, Prologue). Yukiri feels that the title Head Clerk matches what Seranch does, in a manner of speaking (KoD, Prologue).
