After the [[Seanchan]] take [[Rhuidean]] and it becomes clear the Aiel are losing the war, he steals plans for assassinating leaders of other nations from the Seanchan palace in [[Ebou Dar]]. Hehyal is a Dawn Runner and clan chief of the Taardad Aiel sixty years after the Last Battle. After the Seanchan take Rhuidean and it becomes clear the Aiel are losing the war, he steals plans for assassinating leaders of other nations from the Seanchan palace in Ebou Dar. He and Oncala use these to persuade Talana to join the war, without telling her they are contingency plans in case the Andorans do enter.
