Huan was Siuan Sanche's uncle. He was a gambler (TGH, Ch20).
He was a scapegrace most of the time, but he rescued children out of a burning house and would not stop as long as one was still inside. Mat reminds Siuan of Huan (TGH, Ch20).
Siuan tells Moiraine of one of her uncles who died proving what an admirable man he was (NS, Ch6).
