General
Jarene is the eldest daughter of Ethenielle Cosaru Noremaga, the Queen of Kandor, and Prince Brys of Kandor. In "New Spring", she is twelve years old. Moiraine describes her as "a lovely green-eyed girl". She has five brothers, Antol, Diryk and three unnamed, and one younger sister, unnamed (NS, Ch. 25).
Jarene leads her four younger brothers and younger sister before Moiraine when she visits the palace in Chachin (NS, Ch. 25).
Later, in "Path of Daggers", there is a mention of one of Ethenielle's daughters being married to Easar's third son, though we do not know which one (TPoD, Prologue).
