Jenare Balmaen

The full name was not recorded in the main series, but was given in the Wheel of Time Companion. Other information about the character is also included in the Companion, but we did not use it in the TarValon.Net Library.
Jenare Balmaen is Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah (TPoD, Ch. 26). She is pale and sturdy (KoD, Ch. 27).
Timeline
- Jenare is one of the fifty one Aes Sedai that Elaida sends to capture the Black Tower (TPoD, Ch. 26).
- Elaida abandons the Aes Sedai sent to capture the Black Tower, including Jenare, at Alviarin's suggestion (ACoS, Ch. 32).
- Jenare is captured by the Asha'man (TPoD, Ch. 26).
- Welyn Kajima bonds Jenare (WH, Prologue).
- Jenare, along with several of the other captured Aes Sedai, blames Toveine Gazal for her capture (WH, Prologue).
- Lemai and Desandre order Jenare and the other captured, bonded Aes Sedai to be cordial to the Asha'man in order to lull them (CoT, Prologue).
- Jenare and Welyn Kajima are with Rand when Semirhage attacks him (KoD, Ch. 27).
- She is Turned along with Welyn (AMoL, Ch. 3).
