General

Jillari is a former damane from Seanchan who was captured by Rand's forces during the fighting in Illian and Altara. She was given into the control of the Asha'man, who then sent her and four other damane on to Elayne in Caemlyn ({wh|8}}). She maintained that she both deserved and needed to be collared (WH, Ch. 8; KoD, Ch. 14). In order to try to convince her that she is safe to be unleashed, she is given daily walks with the Kin, under close supervision. She does not know how old she is, but appears to be just into her middle years, with long red hair and green eyes.
