Marin al'Vere is the wife of Bran al'Vere and mother of Egwene al'Vere. Along with her husband she is the owner of the Winespring Inn and usually serves the people, who visit the inn.
Appearance
Marin is a tall woman with dark hair and dark skin. She usually wears her hair in a long braid.

Season 1
In Episode 1, Marin is shown to oversee Egwene's initiation into the Women's Circle. Later in the day, she is at the inn when Egwene comes back after the ceremony. Marin serves drinks, including to her daughter.
During Winternight, when Moiraine arrives at the inn, Marin shows her and Lan to their room. Marin recognizes an Aes Sedai ring immediately add addresses Moiraine appropriately. She believes that just because there is an Aes Sedai in Emond's Field, this does not mean that the war from Ghealdan will come to them there.
On the night of Bel Tine, Marin, her husband, and her daughter light a candle inside a paper lantern and let it flow downriver, as is the tradition in the village. Later she urges the people of the village to celebrate and start dancing.
Marin survives the Trolloc attack on Bel Tine and on the following morning helps with taking care of the wounded. She stands with her husband, while Egwene leaves Emond's Field with Moiraine and the rest.
