Who am I

Hello! I'm Marlena (big name difference, I know!), and I live in Denver, CO. I've been around since...2002? I went to the 2nd Anni party in Tennessee, and I remember joining because I was impatient for book 10 to come out.

During my membership here, I've re-started my bachelor's degree, and earned one in vocal performance in 2006, and begun teaching private voice & piano lessons on my own. It's nice, but I get behind on the paperwork sometimes...

I also got married to someone I met on the site--Enoch Xarr, this past May. It's funny, because we met very soon after I joined the site, but it took us years to actually start dating. When we actually saw each other alone, without the 5 or 6 other Colorado Tower members, it was love at first 7-hour conversation...

My #1 goal right now is to reach my goals without beating myself over the head about it! I am also taking an Italian class this fall at my university, 2nd out of 3 languages I need for opera stuff. I've already had German and spent a semester in Austria awhile back, so next will be French. I was going to try to take Italian *and* French in one semester--but then I remembered my #1 goal. Also, my 6-day-a-week teaching schedule? I'm gonna cut that down to three by next month.
