General
Marris Thornhill is an Aes Sedai of the Black Ajah, though she poses as Brown. She sided with the White Tower Aes Sedai when the White Tower split (KoD, Prologue).
Marris is plump (CoT, Prologue). She is originally from Andor (KoD, Prologue).
Timeline
- 999 NE: Faolain is sent to Marris for punishment (TDR, Ch. 18).
- 1000 NE: Marris, Doraise and Elin snub Yukiri when they walk through the Tower (CoT, Prologue).
- 1000 NE: Atuan betrays Marris and so she is kidnapped by the Sitters hunting the Black Ajah (KoD, Prologue).
- 1000 NE: Marris breaks and confesses to being Black Ajah. She swears the oath of obedience to Yukiri (KoD, Prologue).
Miscellaneous
- Marris spends long periods of time in the White Tower (CoT, Prologue).
- Yukiri described Marris and Doraise as "mild and absorbed in their studies." That, of course, was before she knew that Marris was Black Ajah (CoT, Prologue).
- Marris does not have a Warder (KoD, Prologue).
- Atuan and Karale are in Marris' Black Ajah heart. It is not known who her other contact is; only that she is with the Salidar Aes Sedai (KoD, Prologue).
