Estyrien al'Halien
General Information
Meilyn Arganya was Aes Sedai of the White Ajah; she was one of the most respected sisters in the Tower in her time. (Reference: NS Chapter 5) She was one of Tamra Ospenya's searchers for the Dragon Reborn. The Black Ajah discovered this when they tortured and killed Tamra and so they killed Meilyn with the One Power. Chesmal Emry announced that Meilyn had died in her sleep but since Chesmal is later exposed as Black Ajah it is likely that she had a hand in killing Meilyn. To the rest of the world Meilyn had died in her sleep but Moiraine Damodred and Siuan Sanche knew that the Black Ajah had killed her. (Reference: NS Chapter 18)
Meilyn was weaker in the One Power than Cadsuane Melaidhrin but stronger than all other Aes Sedai when she was alive. Except for Cadsuane the White Tower had seen no one stronger than Meilyn for six hundred years. (Reference: NS Chapter 17)
Unlike most Whites she had bonded a warder, Andro. Meilyn knew Andro well enough to be able to interpret his thoughts through the warder bond. (Reference: NS Chapter 5)
Meilyn had silvery grey hair, blue eyes and a thrusting chin. She was quite tall. Her ageless face never showed any trace of emotion and she was serenity itself. (Reference: NS Chapter 5)
