Mishael is one of the Sea Folk and husband to Shalon din Togara Morning Tide.

Shalon misses her husband and due to her loneliness contracts a relationship with Ailil Riatin. When Cadsuane finds out about it, she wants Shalon to spy on Harine, for which Cadsuane will keep Shalon's secret.
