Pel is a wagon-driver from Lugard and a patron of The Good Night's Ride, and therefore an acquaintance of Duranda Tharne. He is gap-toothed.
He is at Mistress Tharne's inn when Siuan enters for information. He laughs about Mistress Tharne's jokes.
