Raolin Darksbane was a male channeler who claimed to be the Dragon Reborn in 335 AB.

He was the first false Dragon powerful enough for note (Glossary; Robert Jordan's World of "The Wheel of Time").

Miscellaneous

-Far Madding was called Aren Mador when he was born there (Winter's Heart, Chapter 22).

-After he was captured, his followers attacked the White Tower in an attempt to rescue him (The Shadow Rising, Chapter 22; Lord of Chaos, Chapter 8)

-Ishamael tells Rand, Mat and Perrin in their dreams that they are going to be used by the Amyrlin Seat just like the false Dragons of history, including Raolin Darksbane, were used (The Eye of the World, Chapter 14).

-Rand, Mat and Perrin tell others of their dreams and mention Raolin Darksbane (The Eye of the World, Chapter 15; The Eye of the World, Chapter 42; The Eye of the World, Chapter 52).

-Rand tells Siuan that he is not going to be leashed like Darksbane and the other false Dragons (The Great Hunt, Chapter 8).

-Loial tells Perrin what he knows about the best-known false Dragons, mentioning Darksbane among them (Lord of Chaos, Chapter 54).
