Razors are a breed of horse from Arad Doman, with black and white meeting in their coats in straight lines, as if they were sliced by a razor. They are favoured by the bloodborn – those nobles descended from the nobility at the time of the founding of the nation and it is almost unheard of to find them outside Arad Doman, as Domanis will not sell them to an outlander. Mat comes across one owned by Toke Fearnim in Jurador, which he buys for Tuon. While buying the animal, Toke repeatedly refers to it as “the razor” to emphasise it's breed and worth.
