River Boern

The Boern is a river that flows from its source in the Mountains of Mist through Ghealdan until it joins the Eldar at the village of Boannda (TFoH, Ch. 44). As well as Boannda, the capital, Ghealdan lies on the Boern. Between the towns of Jarra and Sidon, the Boern is crossed by a stone bridge arching from one fifty foot cliff to another (TDR, Ch. 33).
