The Sand d'ma Shadar is a group Mat knows from his memories. Early in the Battle of Merrilor when he is looking at the battle site and thinking that they can't afford to retreat, he thinks of Naath and the San d'ma Shadar.
They take their name from the TarValon.Net company, San d'ma Shadar
