Sanduin is an Aiel warrior of the True Blood society.
He has a scar that, according to Sorilea, makes the rest of his face more handsome.
Because Egwene blushes so often lately for no apparent reason, Sorilea guesses that a man has attracted her interest. She asks if it is Sanduin, whom she describes as "that strapping True Blood I saw around Amys' tent yesterday?"
