Atarah al'Norahn
General
Serenia Latar was an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. She was raised to the Amyrlin Seat in the year 276 NE, and held the position until her death in 306 NE. She was Comarra Zepava's successor, and Doniella Alievin's predecessor (The World of Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time").
Serenia Latar is the only Amyrlin Seat the Whitecloaks have ever hanged, and even then, she was dead when they did so. A picture of her being raised on the scaffold hangs in the Dome of Truth (Lord of Chaos, Chapter 31).
