The Splintered Hills were an area of Coremanda, just northeast of the Damona Mountains that were almost a continuation of that mountain range. The area is part of present day Murandy and they are no longer referred to by that name, but within the area are several small mountains that are named, such as Mount Sardlen, Blinder's Peak and Favlend Mountain. Within the Splintered Hills was an area known as the Eagles Raches, which contained fortifications, ruins of some of which stil exist. The town of Hinderstrap lies in the Splintered Hills, alongside an ancient roadway that runs to Andor.
