I have some of their traits, but as all the Ajahs are very stereotypical in the books, I wouldn't say I'm just like them.

;Are you like the Browns in the books? Do you love books and have a tendency to daydream?
It depends on the book. I read a lot and love to research, but just topics that interest me. I'm definitely not a daydreamer, but I can become quite absorbed in my studies or the book I'm reading, and not notice what happens around me.

I read a lot, and love it. I’m not a daydreamer, but tend to get deeply lost in the books I’m reading, or the subject I’m researching, and won’t notice what’s happening around me.

;How did you first get into the series?
I was in Sweden studying, and I wanted to read something in my mother tongue, Finnish. The selection of Finnish books in the Gothenburg library wasn't too big, so I ended up borrowing the EotW. But I gave it up as a bad book, because the translations were crap. Later I started again in English, and got hooked straight away.
+
I first tried to read the Finnish translations of the Eye of the World, but didn’t like it at all. A couple of years later I bought the English paperback on a whim, and found out it wasn’t such a bad series at all. Apparently the Finnish translations are not  that good.

*;Who is your favorite character of the Series? Favorite Nation?
+
;Who is your favorite "hero"?
I like Mat and Tuon maybe most. The Seanchan as a nation are interesting, and so are the Aiel.
+
Mat Cauthon from the main characters. He’s always a fun read. He’s also a reluctant hero, but he doesn’t whine about it too much, and in the end he does what he has to do.

*;Have you ever attended any Real Life Functions? Did you like them if you did, and why? (Why do you think people should come to any future functions?)
+
;Favorite bad guy/gal?
I've been to Euro summer party last August. I loved it, because it's nice to get to know people from different countries. I think people should come to TV.net functions because this is a RL-based community, and meeting is part of knowing people.
+
There are some really creepy ones, like Padan Fain. I like to read their points of view. I also liked reading about Semirhage, but she became a bit disappointing in The Gathering Storm.

*;What kind of music do you like?
+
;Favorite book and scene?
Classical. More spesificly tone colour and spectre-based music from the earlier part of 20th century.
+
TGS is my favorite book so far, when the last is not yet published. Favorite scene is Verin’s big revelation.

*;What are your favorite movies?
+

I don't go to movies much, but I've liked Kieslowski's pictures.

*;Seanchan or Shara?
+

I really don't like either.

*;A short bio about yourself.

I'm 29-year-old flute teacher and musicology student from Helsinki Finland. I live in the city centre with my hubby, and soon we're going to have a third member in the family (due time's Nov 24th). My hobbies (which I can't do right now because of the big belly) are Irish dancing and classical ballet. Reading is a lifestyle, not a hobby. :p
