General
Talaan is an apprentice Windfinder of the Sea Folk, and is the daughter of Caire din Gelyn Running Wave. Her aunt is Tebreille din Gelyn South Wind (WH, Ch. 11).
Talaan claims to be nineteen years of age. However, due to the fact that she is boyishly slim and young looking, Nynaeve doubts this (TPoD, Ch. 2; WH, Ch. 11).
Timeline
- Talaan goes to the Tarasin Palace (ACoS, Ch. 37).
- Talaan rides through a gateway to The Kin's farm (TPoD, Ch. 1; TPoD, Ch. 3).
- Talaan participates in using the Bowl of the Winds, using the amber turtle angreal (TPoD, Ch. 5).
- Talaan travels to, and across, Andor. After that, she arrives at the Royal Palace with the others (TPoD, Ch. 6; TPoD, Ch. 20; TPoD, Ch. 28).
