Outline
Moghedien and Cyndane visit Graendal and try to make her obey the Nae'blis - Moridin. Graendal later knees in front of Shaidar Haran. Cadsuane and Sorilea swear a water oath to make Rand be able to laugh and cry again.
Summary
Graendal's Point of View:
Setting: Arad Doman
Characters: Graendal, Nazran, Moghedien, Cyndane, Shaidar Haran
Graendal forges a letter to Rodel Ituralde bearing King Alsalam's seal. Nazran, a close cousin of the King, is to deliver it with the message that a Gray Man tried to prevent the letter from being carried to him. After he has left, a gateway opens and Moghedien steps through with a silver-haired woman she introduces as Cyndane. They came for Graendal to make her obey Moridin, the new Nae'blis, but Graendal thinks they are playing tricks.
When Shaidar Haran appears and introduces himself as the hand of the Dark One, Graendal considers her chances only for a moment. She kneels to him and receives her first orders from her new master, one of them being to visit Moridin.
Cadsuane's Point of View:
