Mat sees Mili Skane enter the Chelsaine Palace.
Summary
Mat gambles on horses, betting all on Wind, ridden by Olver. The bookmaker is not pleased at the size of the bet, but has to take it according to guild rules. He has been having the palace watched, but Elayne and Nynaeve have been getting past his men. He sees Mili Skane and a memory of her trying to kill him in Andor returns. Olver wins and he follows Mili. On the way, he is forced to buy a signet ring so she doesn't notice him. The ring shows a fox bothering some ravens although he does not realize this at the time. He follows her to the Chelsaine Palace and is told by an old man watching it that Jaichim Carridin lives there.
