General

Andere is a Malkieri who was sworn to a Kandori lord (NS, Ch. 15). When Lan rides across the Borderlands, Andere joins Lan in Saldaea with Nazar and Rakim. Lan had not seen him in many years. He is a lean, dangerous looking man who wears the hadori (ToM, Ch. 7). Initially Lan tells him not to join, but relents when Andere refuses to go away, saying he would only obey a king (ToM, Ch. 7). When Lan readies himself for the charge at Tarwin's Gap, Andere rides on his left (ToM, Epilogue).
