General
Arel Malevin is a Cairhienin Asha'man. He is one of Logain's group. He forcibly bonds Aisling Noon after the Aes Sedai sent with Toveine were captured (KoD, Ch. 20).
He stands only chest-high to Lan, which makes him seem even wider than he actually is (KoD, Ch. 20).
Timeline
- His name is not mentioned at the time, but we later learn that Arel Malevin forcibly bonds Aisling Noon after the Aes Sedai sent to the Black Tower are captured (TPoD, Ch. 26; KoD, Ch. 20).
- His name is not mentioned at the time, but we later learn that Arel Malevin is one of the Asha'man to accompany Logain to Tear in search of Rand (CoT, Ch. 24; KoD, Ch. 20).
- Because he is in Tear, it can be assumed that Malevin participates in the battle against the Trollocs at Lord Algarin's manor (KoD, Ch. 19).
- Malevin and Aisling help burn the dead Trollocs after the battle. As Nynaeve watches, six fires bloom in front of them (KoD, Ch. 20).
- He is one of the men left with Logain after Logain sends the Asha'man to try and find the Seals (AMoL, Ch. 37).
