Huon was High Lord Turak's so'jhin. He seemed to have the function of his Voice, too. His left scalp was shaved with the rest of his pale golden hair in a braid that hung to his shoulders (TGH, Ch. 29).
His name is given as Huan in chapter 34 of The Great Hunt, while later, in chapter 45 he is referred to as Huon.
- Like his family for eleven generation before him, he was born and raised in the House of Aladon (TGH, Ch. 34).
- When Domon wanted to give Turak the cuendillar seal as a present, Huon chided him for the suggestion, since Egeanin had already given it to Turak (TGH, Ch. 29).
- He struck Fain when he demanded his dagger back from Turak and spoke improperly. Fain thinks about how to kill Huon best (TGH, Ch. 34).
- Turak grows suspicious of Fain after Huon's "mysterious death" (TGH, Ch. 45).
"Unshaven dog! Know that the hand that touches the property of the High Lord unbidden is cut off." (Huon to Fain; The Great Hunt, Chapter 34)
