Iona is a woman from Seanchan, likely a sul'dam. She is one of the two others that Bethamin shares a room with in The Golden Swans of Heaven in Ebou Dar.
When Almurat Mor asks Bethamin if she has any wine or brandy, she replies that Iona has a flask of the local brandy; Almurat tells her to pour him some.
