Jerasid is a farrier from the Two Rivers, Andor. He is blocky and not yet into his middle years (TPoD, Ch. 9).

Although not directly mentioned by name at the time, he follows Perrin from the Two Rivers (LoC, Ch. 45) everywhere until finally to Ghealdan (TPoD, Ch. 9), where we hear of him for the first time.

He looks after the horses alongside Aemin, Falton and three other farriers. They take care that Perrin does not "need" to shoe his horse himself, for example. They think Perrin is a lord and when he looks about to do their job it must be because he does not trust them (TPoD, Ch. 9).
