I loved every stage of the Tower, though being a citizen could be frustrating because of all the spam. It was wonderful getting to know different people in the Tower at each level. Being a Novice and Accepted was wonderful as I met some people who are now close friends.

I attended Europarty this past year, and I loved it. I was raised to Aes Sedai so it was a very positive experience. Everyone was warm and friendly and it was great putting faces to posts.

I love Miyasaki's work: Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, etc., Goodbye Lenin!, the usual nerd fare, like Star Wars, LotR. A few television shows I enjoy are Arrested Development, Mad Men, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman: The Animated Series, The Wire.

It's really up to the person if they want to attend a real life function. It is a time and money commitment and can be intimidating, but it's also a fantastic experience and a great way to meet people from all over the world.

  • Why did you choose Brown?

There was no other choice for me. The Browns on this site are a wonderful group of women (and Warders). We're diverse and laid back.

  • Are you like the Browns in the books? Do you love books and have a tendency to daydream?

Yes. I'm working on a doctorate in History and I work part-time at a bookstore. My life is books. Hopefully, I'm not as frumpy as some of the Browns portrayed in the books though.

  • Do you have a favorite Brown Ajah character from the novels?
