TarValon.Net regularly has freeweeks or days in which some of the rules are relaxed and groups get to dress up, in themes. These freeweeks are organised by the Online Activities Team (which has previouly gone under the names Online Events Team and Outreach Activities Team).
The current year's events can be found here.
Events
We currently celebrate two freeweeks during the year, where people traditionally have more freedom to post and may change their avatars.
Some freeweeks have been retired and are no longer celebrated by the community:
- Weeks
- Sunday - Summer Solstice
- Feast of Lights - Winter Solstice
- Feast of Fools - July/August
- Days
- Homecoming - October
- Qaato Nag - around August 4
- Black Tower Day - March 27
History
Between 2011 and 2021, Online Events were called Outreach Activities and were part of the Department of Community Outreach.
Positions
- Main article: Department of Online Events (Positions)
Online Events are organised and run by the Online Activities Team, which is led by the Online Events Coordinator.
