Sharmad Zeffar is a refugee from Arad Doman who now lives in the Two Rivers. She is plump, coppery-skinned and about seven years older than Faile.
She and Rhea Avin both have their eyes on Wil al'Seen, but he does not choose between them. They bring the matter before Faile to ask who may "own" him. Faile thinks they are silly and sends them to the Wisdom, Daise Congar, to discuss everything with her and let her draw a conclusion.
