Vitalien is the Warder of Sarene Nemdahl of the White Ajah, who writes poetry about him, though she would never admit it to him (LOC: 25). He is left behind in Cairhien when Sarene goes to Far Madding with Cadsuane and Alanna in search of Rand (WH: 27). Vitalien, along with the Warders of Erian and Elza, track their Aes Sedai to Tear where they are hiding with Rand (COT: 23).
