General
Machan is the Warder of one of the rebel Aes Sedai; which one is not known.
He spots twenty-odd riders (Gareth Bryne and his men) to the east of Salidar and passes the information on to some of the other Warders, including Arinvar, who takes the information to Sheriam and her group. Arinvar tells Sheriam that Machan says the riders are armed and have the look of veterans.
