General
Serana is a mid sized town in Tarabon on a small lake, lying halfway between Elmora and the Amadician border. It is a stopping point for trade out of Tarabon and has over a dozen inns and almost as many streets. The buildings are mostly wood, with tile roofs in a variety of colours.
Following the invasion, the Seanchan set up camp there, next to the village. It is one of the places that Rodel Ituralde raided, commanding Taraboners.
